It's not GSM Nadal yet. Klizan won't give up.

He's only really got by on guts and instincts so far though which can only take him so far. Nadal is finding patterns and rhythms that disturb Klizan's stroke timings. Nadal is certainly showing sharp enough form.

So I predicted Klizan to go lose the next two sets 3 and 3 after losing the first set. He is well on his way to do the same after winning the first set :)

So what if he did ? Taken between sets, it is perfectly legal (Except when Fed does the same and desperate Nadtrolls try to call it gamesmanship)

Really? I don't ever remember Nadtrolls associating anything gamesmapship on other players.

It's not easy for Nadal to come back to Wimbledon after his recent upsets here and be mentally at the pinnacle of his game, so though his form looks respectable for an early round he's having to battle his demons. Klizan is putting forth an inspired effort.

Edgar will win this easy know. Can't see anyone stopping him

What a joke. On real grass Klizan would've won that point 4 different times.

Wimbledon is slow as molasses this year. Then again, it's more startling since I just watched Halle.

For a 14 slam champ, it's crazy how Nadal feels less confident sometimes. He would benefit from the swagger that Federer or Djokovic have. It almost takes Nadal time to believe in himself and remind himself that he's the World #1.

Told you guys, Nadal was going to win in 4. He always starts this way at Wimby.

He doesn't like grass without dust. That's why he would have never win more than 1 or 2 matches in the pre 2002 Wimbledon. When he gets the record for GS, he will have to be really thankfull with the ATP for changing all the courts.

Not almost, it does, and it's always thrilling to visibly see him improving over the course of a match/tournament until he hits that deadly zone in the semis :)

As expected, Klizan couldn't keep up the level. This isn't a shock.

Great play for Nadal in terms of his confidence now.
