What boggles my mind is Kukushkin beat him with actual point construction, something Nadal is supposed to be the best at in the world. He doesnt have a huge serve, he doesnt hit crazy winners like Rosol and he doesnt serve and volley. The majority of the match has been played from the baseline. Amazing stuff!

Kukushkin played great in this first set.

Nadal is definitely more vulnerable on grass and even more when the roof is closed.
