Match of the tournament :D

H2H 1-1
2014 Doha R32 Nadal d. Rosol 6-2 7-6(7)
2012 Wimbledon R64 Rosol d. Nadal 6-7(9) 6-4 6-4 2-6 6-4

Will lightning strike twice? Against all common sense (which says that yes, lightning often falls in the same high, electrically conducting places), I think Nadal has fulfilled his 2014 Wimbledon clowning quota and will win in 3.

Nadal in 4. Rosol to give everyone a heart attack by playing GOAT-worthy tennis in the 1st but then falling apart for the rest of the match. Should be entertaining either way!

I was about to create a thread LOL :)

This is going to get so much hype!

Nadal is great at avenging big losses (outside of 2011 to Djokovic). I voted him in 3 but it'll probably be in 4

It'll be a very very tough match for Rafa! But he would most certainly want to avenge that 2012 loss.
Hopefully Rafa dismantles Rosol in 3/4 sets. :)

Nadal on facing Rosol in the next round:

"He's a very dangerous player, very strong, very powerful shot from the back of the court. I have to play very well if i want chances to win"

I hope Nadal has a more positive attitude, he was fuming in the end of the fourth set today. Possibly because of the time violation on BP

I think Rosol has a game that gives Nadal a lot of trouble, especially on quicker surfaces. They played a terrific second set in Doha. Rosol actually should've taken the second set.

Rafa in 4.

Will probably lose the first set, then come back in 4.

I don't think Nadal will just grab 3 consecutive sets against a well-playing bomber like Rosol on first-week Wimbledon grass. Especially considering that Rosol is still in Nadal's head and Nadal is wary of Rosol's big hitting game. If Nadal gets broken, shades of Wimby 2012 could haunt him, causing him to lose his focus and look up to Uncle Toni for help.

So, did Nadal get time violation.
I hate these umpires. They are bad human beings and show no sympathy for injured people.

Haha that's great! Don't care if the draws are rigged or not, I'm not even mad.
Match will be entertaining no matter what. Same will be with the result, no matter who wins in how many sets, a lot of trolling and sh1tposting can be done ;)

I'm SOOOOO looking forward to this match thread on Thursday, probably even more than the match itself! :)

i think Rosol should rightfully be regarded as favorite. He destroyed Nadal on grass the last time round, and Nadal is not good on grass. As always, just hope Nadal tries his best and we'll always be cheering him on!

Yes, looks like Angus Murphy has joined forces with Pascal. But these things only spur Rafa on to greater heights. Rafa loves adversity.

Vamos !

But Rosol is no more at his peak and has some injury woes whereas Rafa may be hitting his grass peak once again and is fit as a fiddle as he admitted before Wimbledon. So Nadal in straights.

Rosol swings for the fences. He had his match where it was the one time he actually connected.

He won't connect this time.

Nastall dominates, 6-4 6-2 6-2.

We are lucky Rosol's peak lasted only one day of his life. Imagine if he began routining our Rafa on all surfaces.

Last time I watched Rosol-Federer match, Rosol striked me as a streaky player.
Big strong guy pounding strokes. No top players want to run into that streak.

That shows the excitement of the Fedfans for this match........:twisted:

Nah..those are Nadal fans having their heart in their mouths....
of course, their head is at the right place.......
When last seen Nadal was still trying to get those heads out in full public view .....

lol. nadal struggled against a guy who is a clay courter today on grass. no way he is getting past king-killer Rosol  Rosol with a repeat of a win in 5

As thrilling as it was, Rosol caught lightning in a bottle in 2012. No way Nadal let's that happen again.

Nadal in 3.

It's not up to Nadal. If Rosol plays like that again, Nadal will be a non-factor. Rosol seems to me like he's got so much confidence playing against Nadal. Even in Doha. His attitude is like "You're Rafael Nadal? Who Cares! I'm Lukas Rosol and I'm physically bigger than you!"

Coin toss will be fun to watch. If Rosol imitates Nadal again and sprints to the baseline, I think we got ourselves a barn burner! :)
