The most important thing is Novak not breaking down and looking crazy solid. That rally against Agut was the best example. He looked much more vulnerable in 2013 (what was going on with that bh then?) or 2014. Nadal is horrible returner compared to Novak on grass and he managed to do some damage to fed. The failed bh of Rafa at the breakpoint is also a shot that you can't really count on. He has a great bh but only when he can flatten the ball. Couldn't do that with the lower bounce. Novak ROS+serve combo is something fedr didn't experience this tournament while Djokovic faced an opponent who rarely broke down starting from the 2nd set in the semi. Especially from the bh side. Partially due to the tendency of not changing the direction, but that's still massive. Will definitely help him today.
