Just standard gymnastics to make the opposition look like a mug so the player in question can be raked over the coals for a loss but not praised at all for a win. It's all set up to make it so the only polarized outcome possible is a loss, and mitigate accomplishments. All the fan bases exhibit this approach from time to time and even I'm guilty of it; it's pretty textbook.

I have to agree with this. Nishi is very weak on grass. His lack of a service game makes him quite vulnerable, even against mediocre players. Fed should win this in straight sets.
