Awesome stuff from Federer being able to put together three consecutive aggressive shots. He did exactly what he had to do. And it wasn't easy, that's for sure.

For Federer to have a chance to win, he needs to do that. Just just go for it. If you miss, you miss. If you UE, you UE. But go down swinging.

I still give him at least a 50% chance but winning the first set was CRUCIAL for Federer. I do think generally who has won the first set has won the match, obviously some exceptions like RG 2006, maybe one of their second AO match?

I expect Fed to drop his level and Nadal to re energize and break to take this set. Repeat of 2007 anyone? Lol

I believe Fed is now 21-3 in tiebreaks in SF/F of Wimbledon. 19-1 against opponents he's not clearly overmatched against (14-15 Djoker), That's just incredible and it shows you how much raising the level matters in tennis.

He isn’t playing bad he has played some good stuff. Federer is serving really well and upped his game big time at the end of that TB. Nadal is still in with a chance even though Fed is favoured at the moment.
