Serena if she doesn’t serve like **** and holds her nerve. I don’t expect Barbora to roll over either way, though.

Better get this out of your system cause Halep isn't going to let you get away with this sort of play.

That's assuming we don't get another Vinci moment in this match...

She's up 4-1 despite relatively sloppy play. The value gap, pressure, is too big between the two, which gives Serena a lot of room for errors.

Serena played very well in that set. I love that she's not over hitting on out of position balls. I thought Strycova would be a little more competitive - slice and dice and hurt Serena's rhythm a bit and draw more errors.

Serena but it wouldn’t shock me if halep won. Halep would have to mix it up and make Serena play side to side.
If Serena makes it to the final, on the one hand she will determined to win after two tough losses. On the other, she might tighten as she did against Kerber and Osaka. That would be a golden opportunity for Halep to strike.

Serena will have to keep serving well.

I've seen Serena play a million matches like this where she's playing decently but if she plays her best tennis she'd probably win 6-0, 6-0. As comprehensive as this has been so far, this isn't even as well as she could play tennis.

Like Roger, Serena is turning 38 this year. Amazing that she is here, one set and a break up in the Wimbledon SF.

If she were to win the title, I believe she would be the oldest Wimbledon ladies' champion EVER, just beating out Charlotte Cooper Sterry, who won in 1908, at 37 years and 282 days.
