Although, after Zverev had won both of their initial matches, there's been a pattern of alternating wins between these two.

Both of their slam level matches have taken place at Wimbledon only, first in R64 in 2018, then 3 years later in R32 in 2021, and now 3 years later in R16 in 2024. In 2018 Zverev won in 5, coming from 2-1 sets down, whereas in 2021 he won in 4 after dropping the first set.

He has definitely been lucky with draws. Di Minaur, Fritz for QF and SF is a dream draw.

Has he struggled with his movement so far? I've only just tuned in for the last Zverev service game and the commentators did mention he looked a little awkward approaching the net for one of the Fritz short balls but aside from that he has looked fine to me? He's certainly hitting well from the back of the court! BP chance!
