I would make a slight correction: I don’t think Fritz’s GF is actually that bad, she was just a normal girl before she met Fritz and seems to be interested in growing the sport and documenting life on Tour. She went to college has a degree had a job isn’t from an uber wealthy family or anything. I don’t mind her.

Paige Lorenze , Paul’s gf, on the other hand, is a man-eating leech whose entire personality is based around dating the richest and most famous men she can find. She also sells wildly plagiarized clothes under her overpriced clothing brand.

Look, I don't know Fritz's GF personally, but from what I have seen of her, she is absolutely vapid, and a worthless member of our society. She may seem interested in "growing the sport," but only if she can somehow profit from that growth personally. I'd say the more accurate description is that she is interested in growing her profile within the sport. The fact that she previously went to college and had a job (what was it, btw, I'd love to know?) means absolutely nothing. There are plenty of numpties in the world that can say the same thing, and it hasn't helped them.

And Fritz really has no excuse, as he seems genuinely taken with her. In Paul's case, however, I honestly think his GF is just a front for PR reasons.

He had a fall in last match and got his knee injured , he managed to win first two sets by playing very agressive ( compensating for lack of movement) then in last three sets he was barely moving forward and laterally ( especially short balls) this affected his overall ground game and Fritz played well to take his chances and it paid off.

Injuries suck unfortunately but Zverev being Zverev not putting his foot on Fritz throat when he had the match well in hand is what did he him. Like always. Same thing at the French. All the momentum and within seconds gives it back. It’s like he forgets how to play at the most little bit of pressure from the opponent.
There’s no defending Zverev anymore. He’s just blown to many perfect opportunities.

Hell could have won the channel slam this year without his mental breakdowns. Who knows. He just can’t put guys away. He will be one of the biggest “what ifs” I can remember loads of talent and big weapons. Marbles for brains

His movement was hampered the first two sets too and he played in such a way that it was rendered irrelevant. His problem is he couldn't keep that up.

Yesterday I was talking to some guy in the General Mens Singles thread who was telling me that there wasn't anything wrong with Shelton's knee because he was still out there hitting bomb serves. That guy liked calling people clowns, he'd probably call you one now for making excuses because Zverev was still out laying down bombs.
