Agreed. This applies to sinner and Djokovic too. If it goes 5 even they cooked against him. Alcaraz will beat anyone in 5 sets now.

He found his top level though in set 5 and tiebreak of set 4. He can play in patches and it’s enough to win this tournament. His best level is better than anyone in the draw in my view. Even if he drops off he can still win.

I want Carlos to win but I'm not as sure as I was that he'll win the title this year.

To be fair, and it may not be saying that much, but this guy he's playing might be one of the 10/15 best grass courters around. He's about as hard a third round as you'll get, especially with his flat hitting indoors.

He's special, flat out. Can be frustrating at times but what he's able to do in big moments time and time again is almost unprecedented. That's where The Big 3 DNA shows

Never said he doesn't have a bright future. But he makes it much more difficult for him than it needs to be.
He keeps on going to 5 sets in matches, he should win sooner.
Credit where it's due - but IMO he is STILL NOT at the level needed to beat Sinner or Novak.
Sure - he can raise his level, but Carlos needs to be more efficient disposing mugs.
