Good one.
Its a repeat of the last year's SF and overall a 3rd slam SF between these two.
Also a 3rd match between the two at Wimbledon. Alcaraz won 2023 in straight sets, while Medvedev won 2021 in straight sets.

Coming into the match, Medvedev has beaten world number one Jannik Sinner in a 5 setter, while Alcaraz defeated Tommy Paul in 4 sets after going a set and 2-0 down.

How do you think this one goes? Who wins? How many sets?

Is this match on Friday? The roof will be closed. Wimbledon loves closed roof - it's an indoor tournament now.

Novak, Med, Carlos, Musetti the likely winners in that order? Just because of how carlos lost to med at the uso having no solutions for med game.

Cannot see past Carlos as he looked superb towards end of his match with Tommy Paul. Med will never give up but unless he can conjure up a new strategy (possible with him) cannot see him winning more than a set on this surface.

Why would the roof be closed? Rain in the forecast?
Wimbledon organizers LOVE the roof. If there is even a speck of rain OR Strong winds - they will close the roof.
And once the Roof is CLOSED - it is NEVER OPENED again during the match, even if the weather is sunny.
The rule says: Refree will see the weather conditions 30 mins before the start of the match. Any wind or rain (present or Forecasted) would make them close the roof. Then the match would be carried out with a closed roof regardless of the change in weather.

The most egregious example of this rule: Nadal-Djokovic Wimb 2018 SF. The match resumed next day. It was HOT and Sunny. But they kept the roof closed. Morons...

Last year during final, wind was medium heavy and roof wasn't closed.

Why didn't they close the roof in last year's final? There was some wind.
