Coach: You wanna try ripping the groundies?
Fritz: I am.
Coach: It doesn’t look like it.

Zverev is Goating! What a BH that was!

What the what? Two breaks - this is over MUCH earlier than I thought. Did Fritz feel a ton of pressure because of his past success vs. Zverev and the fact that this is a fantastic opportunity for another Slam final? Yes, Zverev playing well has a lot to do with.

That shows how good sinner is! Even if he might not be at his best he probably still wins this event! Even if Zverev peaks it very hard to beat sinner. He’s a machine!
You guys are jumping the gun too fast based on one match.
Just because Fritz pulled a stinker, doesn't mean that Zedzilla suddenly became a slam winning machine.
He is still a mental choker, gets passive in big moments and gets tentative on serve in big matches.

Its a sad day for The King, this was his chance to make the Wimbledon final.

But Zverev is showing why he is a once in a lifetime player.

He is but we seen a shift in him since he won RG. It can take winning a slam to change things mentally. Granted he didn’t do against sincaraz or old Djokovic but he’s still done it. You can see the confidence in him now!

Btw Zverev doing the Channel Slam after more than a decade of never winning a major would be the wildest thing I've ever witnessed as a fan of the sport.
Don't worry. It won't happen. Jokes aside, can't see Zverev beating Novak/Sinner in a big slam final. This is based on 12 years of history.
To win his 1st slam, Zverev needed a novice in the final, Alcaraz being injured, Sinner heat ridden and even then he almost choked it away.

Zverev has looked way better against the field at Wimbledon (except the FO until the final) than in any other tournament this year before reaching Sinner. Sinner hasn't been at his best too. I'd still pick Sinner to win, but even if it's this Zverev against Sinner I don't think Sinner is beating him in straight sets again.

I agree that he’s definitely playing better, and has looked fantastic today. I guess since he hasn’t even been close to Sinner is what has me more concerned, which I think is more mental at this point. I hope you’re right. He’s definitely good enough to beat anyone including Sinner if he’s playing his top level. I still think Sinner has the edge of course, but hopefully if they play it will be a good match.

Not sure why you're saying "don't worry". Assuming Sinner beats Djokovic I'd actually quite like to see Zverev winning Wimbledon.

Zverev vs Fery, who will win?
:D

Zverev. Fery won't be able to handle this level of serving and heavy hitting. I am following his score vs Cobolli but I watched his previous match and he's a very scrappy and quick player but I just this is where his dream run ends.

Kyrgios making the final was the saddest day in Wimbledon history for me. Zverev making it hardly compares, he is actually a quality tennis player.
Zverev's a much better player, true, but I was hoping the sport would still have one sanctuary free of the smug woman beater.

I definitely wouldn't pick Zverev in the final, no matter how well he's playing. But, I think the match could be better than it otherwise could have been and I don't think Zverev has NO chance. This is assuming he gets by Fery of course.

If somebody would have told me that Fritz would have gotten 68% of his serves in while bombing 17 aces, then I would have taken that deal all day long. And yet, Zverev is still thrashing him anyway.

Everything is clicking for Zverev right now. His slice backhand, FH, serves; everything.

Go win the title, Zverev.
