Wimbledon Contenders 2024

For me Sinner is the favourite here and though it seems mad to say due to Alcaraz winning last year I have a few reasons.

I feel Sinner is better on grass and he was stopped by Djokovic a few times but this was before he became a champion and I think his improvement and the fact he’s won a slam now will cause no nerves or issues.

He lost to Alcaraz at RG in 5 while not fully fit and Alcaraz being simply better and clay gives me good hope for Wimbledon.

For me this Wimbledon is vital for Sinner. If he loses to Alcaraz again there then he may start to develop a mental block against the young Spanish sensation in big slam matches.

I can understand that but for me Sinner has lost to Alcaraz when he was expected too and I would have time as favourite if they met at Wimbledon.

I do mostly agree though Sinner loses to Alcaraz at W it would be a massive set back as for me it is a surface that suits him better and a loss would be devastating.

Though the 5 set loss at RG just emphasised my belief if they met at W as I feel Alcaraz has so much advantage on clay over Sinner yet it was so close

The key to unlocking his first Wimbledon title is the serve and nerve. If Sinner brings his first serve to that final and doesn't choke a lead, he will win it in 4 sets, regardless of the opponent. I'm calling it.

I think so too, I feel that is the big difference if they meet as Sinner just has a superior serve and on grass it would be the difference.

I feel Sinner needs this too as Alcaraz has already won here plus the fact he has proven himself in GS Finals.

Sinner level vs Djokovic here a few years ago was insane but when it came push to shove you seen who was a champion and who wasn’t. Sinner wins this title I expect a few here in future as he has improved a lot since last year then add in the fact he is a champion here

I should have counted Taylor Fritz as well. He was the next out. But I didn't think he had chance. Now he has a good chance of reaching the final. Definitely a contender.

You are actually responding to yourself 3x in a row. You need some serious help especially after your guy loses.
Don't be a bandwagon fan. It's just as pathetic as some of your simpleton one sentence social media type comments.
