King No1e
G.O.A.T.
Last year I did this, I predicted Nadal and Murray in the final, and both got thrown in the dumpster the day after. So let's hope it goes better this time
Del Potro vs Simon: from the way things look today, I'm going with Juan. He's in the lead and he's in better form.
Federer vs Anderson: As much as it would be sweet revenge to see Anderson win after all the crap TTW gave him, I gotta go with RF on this one. 70-30 edge to Federer.
Isner vs Raonic: Everyone's sleeping on Milos. I see him as one of the biggest contenders for the title, and he certainly deserves one after getting so close multiple times and his injury setbacks. He should have no problem with Big John though. Solid 80-20 edge to Raonic
Djokovic vs Nishikori: Kei is in great form, but Djokovic seems to be zoning again. Should be a fantastic match. If Kyrgios had won, it would be a scary matchup for Nole, but Kei is a little easier for him, especially on Wimbledon grass. I give a 80-20 edge to Djokovic.
Nadal vs Del Potro: A year or two ago, this would spell doom for Nadal. Big serving player in top form vs Nadal at Wimbledon. But this year hes already faced a similar opponent in Vesely, and he showed who's boss. Vesely also didn't carry the baggage of losing to Nadal 10 times either. Looks dangerous on paper, but Nadal has his mojo back. 70-30 edge to Nadal.
The semis are where the fun begins.
Federer vs Raonic: we know Raonic can beat Federer on the biggest stage in 5 sets. This should be a hell of a match since both guys are playing their best. Conventional wisdom says Federer, but my gut feeling tells me this is the end of the road. I give the edge to Roger 55-45.
Nadal vs Djokovic. Rafa wants to reassert dominance on his old rival but Djokovic is in vintage form right now. My head says Nadal but heart says Nole. I'll give the 55-45 edge to Nadal.
Fedal in the final: I'd say too early to predict. Fed would beat Djovak and Nadal would beat Raonic, but this final seems too unpredictable for now. You decide!
What do you think? Give us your take on the second week of Wimbledon. Feel free to roast me if you think my predictions were horrible.
