It was even worse than Maradona. Maradona at least scored one of the greatest goals in history just after the hand of God incident . He backed it up.

Kyle Edmund bit the ear of Djokovic .....Tyson style. It was a disgrace.
 
Hey, is there anywhere I could watch a replay of the full match? I missed everything after set.1.

Of course it was blatant.

I bet he was surprised to get the point as much as anyone because what he did was a "f*** it, I missed that" kind desperation shot. The same way players (and not just in tennis) smack a return even after a point has been called, simply because their body was in a momentum and committed to the motion.

The evidence is that he hit as if he would hit a backhand half-volley (held the racket-head completely vertically). But the only way he could make a legal shot that could go over the net at the last possible moment was by scooping the ball, which he didn't even try, let alone succeed.

I mean this is like cheating in juniors, except you have an umpire that is supposed to catch the cheating. And as a mom I can clearly see Edmund is lying. The pause, the "What do you mean double bounce?" Even if in the heat of the moment he didn't see it, he clearly heard Djokovic and umpire talk about it, and then to pretend he doesn't know what they are talking about? Djokovic clearly handled the press better. And cheating in tennis is nothing new to them, most top players cheated their way to the top as juniors, we all know this.

It's all good, with this gesture they just increased Novak's chances of winning the title by about 10%.

Also gave the opportunity for Novak to show once again what champions are made of. Barely made any fuss and promptly broke their boy, that's mental strength.

Check the roar at 11:12 :D I just love it. Made the whole stadium butthurt there :D :D

 
I liked Djok playing the heel again. His particular brand of intensity is annoying to me personally, but objectively I can plainly see that it's what got him to the top of the game.

At this point as a Fed fan I'm much less fearful of Djok than I was in 2016. Now it's Rafa threatening, again...So Novak is once again "the enemy of my enemy"

My ideal situation is for Fed to just face some turkey or young guy in the Final, like Khachanov, Gulbis, Vesely. But I'd also love to see Novak take out Rafa and then lose to Roger in the Final, allowing Fed to exorcise the demons of 2014-15 as he did with Rafa last year.

I leave tomorrow :( Since we didn't know the SF result on Friday courtesy Isner-Anderson and didn't meet over the weekend, we will have to wait maybe a year :(

When I didn't hear from you after the SF , I thought you didn't want to meet (Actually, I could be a dangerous criminal, have you thought about it ?)

LOL...No..Why would I hesitate to meet? Actually, it would have been a different experience to meet someone whom you know from online media for a long time but don't know how exactly they are in real life.

I know some Bangalore cops. Just letting you know.

You are based out of which city? Maybe, I will visit it in the coming time and I will remember to ping you. Definitely, we will meet sometime soon.
