Murray and Djokovic are on centre court so they will likely get their matches finished and assuming they both win. Will be in the QF all ready whilst the bottom half of the tournement still waiting on 3R matches to be finished and maybe even some 4R matches still being finished on wednesday. Well at least everyone got a day off on sunday, right wimbledon organisers?

And it starts raining again. The inability for Wimbledon to account for rain is beyond me. The "most prestigious" slam should not be stopped every half an hour due to drizzle

Actually they did adjust, good weather is expected for most of this week. Matches should resume shortly according to my stream.

The forecast might be wrong. Normal in England = rain every day. No rain is the exception.
The running joke there is a pic of a computer and the screen says "installing English summer" (like a classic download). The next screen says: "installation failed"

Let's see how many hours Lopez and Isner spend on court before asserting that the schedule is fine. Wawrinka's already preparing for tomorrow after his 90-min workout on no. 2 court.
On the plus side, things are looking good for an all-Swiss QF on grass.

More rain delays. AELTC is ridiculous with blindly sticking to the schedule. Not only they would not play any matches at all yesterday like we are in 19th century, but they would not even start matches on Centre Court earlier - say 11am instead 1pm and schedule one additional match there. Matches on outside courts all start at 11 or 11:30 but matches on the only court with a roof do not start before 1:00pm. Totally unreasonable. They don't care about being fair to all players at all.

Now this I find to be a legitimate complaint and an all around good point. Why couldn't they squeeze more matches on Centre Court by starting earlier?
So yes, there are some ways of working around the circumstances that Wimbledon isn't bothering to consider.

Also there is light when the roof is closed so they could schedule even 5 matches there and continue playing until 11pm (happened in previous years - Murray-Robredo 2013 3rd round for example), but no, they would not bother if it is not for Murray.
Let's be honest, this was to be expected.... Why not schedule accordingly? The Lopez/Isner match(the match on hold right now) should have been played on SATURDAY....
Also, why schedule the match where an upset is most likely as the LAST match? Obviously they are not going to finish that today... Heck, who knows whether Djoko/Tsonga even get to play today... smh.

I know the constant rain delays are annoying. I get it. But really, players are used to dealing with it so the only people who this is really bothering are fans with a tennis appetite.
What I'm getting at is: don't people like that Wimbledon is different? Don't people like the variety in this wonderful sport, that you have a very modern Grand Slam in Australia and a very historical one at Wimbledon? No ads, no gimmicks, no bells and whistles. That's what makes Wimbledon, Wimbledon.
I don't know, this is just one of the reasons I love tennis in general. The variety and diversity of the players, surfaces and events.
What I'm getting at is: don't people like that Wimbledon is different? Don't people like the variety in this wonderful sport, that you have a very modern Grand Slam in Australia and a very historical one at Wimbledon? No ads, no gimmicks, no bells and whistles. That's what makes Wimbledon, Wimbledon.

Speaking generally here... but I think some people struggle to deal with a concept like 'tradition'. They seem obsessed with every aspect of every facet of life being constantly updated and uniformly identical to everything else.
But thank god we have the likes of Wimbledon which dare to stick to its principles. Imagine how dull the tennis calendar would be without it?
There is a reason it always comes out leagues ahead of the other slams in opinion polls. It's truly unique and some seem to almost be jealous of that.

Roof is okay until 11 ish, and the outside courts around 9.30pm due to failing light.

I hope so, although if they didn't I could sort of understand. It's time consuming to close it again, isn't it? Especially if there is rain forecast again later, then they'd have to just close it again.

Sure, but they can put on the roof if they need it for lack of daylight. They'll just stop the match for 30 min, and then they get an extra 1,5h to play.

It wasn't on centre court. And they never switch courts to the centre court even if it's empty.
