Wimbledon winner Purcell suspended for anti-doping violation

All dopers have explanations. Sinner has a whole team that worked on his plausible explanation. He was also lucky that the most important expert in his case was Italian, such a coincident.

But really it’s useless talk. You believe what you want yo believe, good for you.
No. We follow the Science, not idle chatter.

The panel of impartial experts at the Tribunal didn’t just call Sinner’s explanation plausible -- they found it likely. These independent scientists would not know the young Sinner from a random bloke queuing at the chippy.

Meanwhile, your favourite convicted doper Purcell, a wealthy Aussie slam champ, hasn’t even bothered to fight to clear his name and has meekly accepted an effective death sentence to his career.

That silence speaks volumes.

When it suits you, you flush the science. In any event, even accepting the findings of the Tribunal their judgement was faulty. And that speaks volumes about the process indirectly!

Where was the Science flushed?

The expert scientific experts at the Sinner Tribunal hearings presented a plausible explanation for the failed doping tests. Contamination was only plausible but it was the most likely explanation, said the scientific experts.

Unfortunately for you there is no plausible innocent explanation for Purcell's multiple prohibited method doping violations.

That is precisely why the 100% guilty Purcell was lucky to get off without a lifetime ban and has chosen to take a monumental 2 year ban instead of presenting his case of innocence to the Tribunal.

You claim "the Science was flushed" but
the Science was followed in the Sinner case. The Science was beautifully followed.

There was no Science to follow or flush in the Purcell case because Purcell has no scientific case of innocence. He does not even have a toilet to sit on.

Let's never forget that the doping system is one of strict liability. 500 ml is over the 100 ml maximum even if the vitamins in the infusion were not on the prohibited list. It is a prohibited method.

Sinner had dope in his system. Purcell had vitamins. There is still no explanation as to why ITIA investigated him in the first place given Purcell never failed a doping test.

there's no explanation that you understand. Slight difference. Its ok though. Keep trying, maybe someday you will get it,

Sinner had dope in his system that could not potentially mask anything, as deemed by experts. While Purcell had an infusion 5X over the legal limit.

It was explained that ITIA was conducting an investigation unrelated to Purcell and discovered a chat on the phone of a person identified as Player 2.
This chat incriminated Purcell. We do not know if Player 2 is just a witness or the subject of an investigation so you will just need to be patient and and allow the ITIA investigation proceed. Are you interested in catching dopers or not?
