Be careful he leaves after a week, you don't want him haunting the place

Thiago Seyboth Wild and Novak Djokovic on WATLYNM watch. Thiago lost a DC match after his title in the spring, though, so maybe he's already joined the club...

WATLYNM staff has been put on alert...first time champion Miomir Kecmanovic has heard about the luxurious accommodations offered at the Lodge and is lurking in Rome, unsure if he wants to go from the penthouse to our outhouse.

Down a set and a break in Rome. Better get Miomir's room ready, I have a feeling like he'll be checking into the WATLYNM Lodge real soon!

Yes, we have strict protocols for our own private Idaho.

When The Nadal drops in tomorrow he will have a separate wing reserved specifically for former slam champions.

You have to make it appealing to them or they'll try to win on purpose just to avoid the lodge.

Thiem rejects the WATLYNM emphatically. I guess he wasn’t impressed after his stay last spring after Miami.

The staff cannot relax though. Rubylev, who stayed with us after his first ATP title at Umag and loss days later in Hamburg’17, and Joe Kovic may check in later this week.

Oh man, if Novak goes does in the first round this place will get real quiet.

The staff is on high alert to greet young Russian Currency for a second visit to The Lodge. He’s not really sure if he will stay or not but Sam is giving him a gentle nudge to go along with the full-fledged shove in the first set.

Oh no, he's definitely staying.

Down 2-0 and a break, better make up the bed and put the champagne on ice, because he will be here momentarily.

It was so obvious and I called it when they played the Final in Hamburg. Even when You young, you need to plan your tournaments. Playing a 500 with no breaks to a GS is somehow not the best idea. Also Tsitsipas wont make it long.

We don’t have a precedent for a 500 the week before a slam but Thiem won Lyon’18 just before a RG run to the final.

I don’t think Rubylev is as much tired as not being adjusted to a different ball/court combo. Yeah, he could have been adjusted and rested by skipping Hamburg but he has 500 ranking points in the bank and would need better than QF here to beat that tally.

Might need to be pulled around on a rickshaw, just don't stop for a rest before you reach the top of the hill.

So, is your favorite NBA team Utah or LA Clippers? Rubylev’s favorite is definitely Denver and he also likes the Yogi Berra attitude of “It ain’t over until it’s over.” He also reads Mark Twain and will remind you that “reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated.”

He will henceforth be known as Zombie Rublev because he just came back from the dead.

This post has not aged well
To be fair, Tsits ain't doing so well right now, and the man with the forehand was down two sets and a break. I actually told someone on the phone that Rublev was out, and then checked the score 2 hours later and was extremely confused.

Check again in an hour or so. Greek breadstick just served to the Mallorcan minor.

He still has a shot, as he should outclass Munar under most circumstances.

If the little boy who can't fight does lose, would he get a room at the WATLYNM's sister lodge, the MAFLYNM resort and spa? (Make a final and lose your next match)

Only if he books a stay with your much larger franchise.

Oh, the MAFLYNM. Well, yes, I guess I misunderstood one of your posts.

Both guys in the Hamburg final needed some time to readjust their games I guess. Does RG play very differently to Hamburg? Honest question.
The ball is the biggest difference and it would be the first time either of them played the Wilson RG megaheavy orbs. Some say the Wilson is even heavier than this guy’s hevvy Ballz:

As to weather/court conditions, Hamburg started warm but got quite cool over the weekend so I’m guessing they had a chance to adjust for that over the weekend.
