WATLYNM staff will be on the lookout for the following potential guests this week at Bercy:
#1 seed Rafael Nadal, #4 Alexander Zverev and #5 seed Andrey Rublev receive 1R byes; their opponents are TBD (López/Krajinović winner for The Nadal; Hurkacz/Albot winner for Russian Money)
John Millman will receive a sales presentation from a recent guest, Miomir Kecmanović. The winner then makes a sales pitch to #4 Zedraffe. Juiced imajine if Kec pulls double duty and succeeds both times!
Ugo Humbert took a week off after winning Antwerp and will be tested 1R vs Casper Ruud.

Humbert thought quite a while about the luxurious accommodations at the WATLYNM Lodge he had experienced this past January but eventually rejected the presentation made by Casper Ruud. The decision to stay elsewhere was made at the last moment in the 131-minute sales pitch made by Ruud.

Ruud’s earnings potential during non-clay calendar segments does indeed need augmentation through WATLYNM sales commissions. However, he was a ghost of his persuasive self during the last two sets, never reaching BPs during the collapse.

Medfly and Demon get waivers due to ATP Cup format.

No guests at the WATLYNM after dubs partners Sinner and Hurkacz both win their singles matches in straight sets. Medfly also won his ATP Cup opening match so his waiver wasn’t needed. Demon did lose in 3 to RBA but we let ATP Cup and Tour Finals slide due to the limited participation formats.
