Andy R. would win the crown in that alone. He always looked like he was melting after about 5 min of play. Then dripping all over the microphone during the post match interview.
Isner and Anderson tied for towelling. In their recent match, the first set took about 1 hour and the actual playing time was a little over 6 minutes according to the Sky commentators. No wonder the fans looked half asleep.

Yea, but didn't spend hours toweling. Didn't towel between first and second serves. Got up from breaks early to go start on the court, relatively fast player. Against delpo this year, the ball people were instructed not to let him on the court that early in the game (or atleast they tried to stop him).
They should just do away with the towel completely, except on changeovers of course. Put sweatbands on your wrists if it's a problem. The time wasting has gotten to be an absolute joke. Djokovic and Murray toweling off after an ace or a missed serve return...
Hopefully they will actually enforce the 25 second rule with the threat of the automatic fault...
You realize, of course, that young players have been taught to towel off, put the rkt in the non-dominant hand, straighten strings, do butt-kicks, prance around and have a ritual for the past 20 years, right? It is as institutional as grunting.
