Hey, What is the best sport to play in the winter to make up for lost tennis time. I am in high school in New Jersey so I need a high school sport. Here are the choices. It would be great if you guys could help me out. I need to decide quickly. These are the sports I can choose fromm.

1. Wrestling (Strength?)
2. Swimming (endurance?)
3. Winter Track, (is so what type? Eg. Sprint..etc.)
(speed?)

i played high school tennis in the spring as well as being a national/itf tournament player, but in the winter i ran indoor track. I was actually a distance runner for 3 years (didnt run my freshman year). i found this more beneficial to me because at my school we did tons of distance runs (endurance), and on top of that we did plenty of sprints (explosiveness), along with weight lifting. Tennis is a sport with one of the highest physical fitness demands, not only because of the effort to play a match, but because in normal conditions you play a match daily in which you have to put in 100 percent if you want to play again the next day. If that is not enough, to complicate it more, you never know how long the game is going to be. go with track unless you know how to wrestle or swim like a fish.
