Winter tennis

Guys,
I catch cold easily if I play in these winter times. My club will setup an Indoor facitlity from November. Till then when i play tennis outdoor I need a cap or a jacket with hood that will protect my head and ears from cold breeze. Please let me know if you have any idea for what to buy that will protect me and not hinder my tennis.

Those bandannas that cover the ears- I like better then a full hat. Then something like a light weight long sleeve- Patagonia R1 or .5 if the still make it- with a dry fit tank over that is great. then just warm up pants. If it's a really cold day same thing but a vest- I used a micro down vest- very thin not bulky.

Yes- usually made out of a windstop fleece material- runners use them. Not a bandanna like the cotton nike ones fed and rapha use. REI- or even a running store will have them. NIke maes a version I think

use the skiing 3-1 bandana, beanie and kinda scarfish (without looking g.a.y.) I use it now when I'm biking (-1 - 5 centigrade) to training.

By the way. I am not sure where u live but CVS has winter windproof bandana for 3.99 on sale!

Try a merino wool base layer - icebreaker make good ones - then just a dri fit on top - and then a second beanie to change into straight after play . Unless it is sub zero i still prefer shorts on court.
