wise 2086 ********** gripper hitting the racquet handle

Hi,

I just bought a new string machine with wise ********** 2086 : https://www.tennisman.de/en/Other/S...ronic-Premiumfloorstand-Universal-Clamps.html

I noticed that the gripper hits the racquet handle so it throws off the tension in the first two mains as shown below:

I was wondering what I need to do to solve this issue. Is there anyway to adjust the height of this gripper? Should I get a replacement?

Thanks

Ordering a replacement probably wouldn’t change anything. You could move the handle a bit to the left or the right of the gripper, lock the turntable, and pull tension.

Others who owned the 2086 and wanted 360 rotation tried to raise the turntable. You should look at the docs that came with your machine. Odds are 360 is not a feature so you shouldn’t expect it.

And that’s with a 4 1/4 grip…4 3/8 or 4 1/2 w/overgrip certainly wouldn’t stand a chance. Can’t translate the product description but it does mention something about 360 deg rotation in red in the second paragraph. Hmmm?

The red writing:
The motor is lowered. This means that the racquet handle goes over the quick release and the racquet or the clamping basket can thus be rotated 360° degrees.

Would simply write to tennisman and clarify the matter - should be a manageable todo.
