Wise 2086 Issue

Hey everyone,

I've got a Wise 2086 Series 11 and recently encountered an issue where red tension button on the gripper has stopped working.
I can still get the machine to tension by pressing the button on the machine itself.
Do you believe replacing the gripper will fix the issue with the button not responding?

Thanks

Call Dan at Wise. I don't think they service that model anymore, but he may have a fix for you.

Or email.

It DOES seem like replacing the gripper would work, although that be excessive for a machine
they don't service any longer (in house). Tennis Machines (dot com) MIGHT work on it?

I do think pressing the keypad over and over to tension isn't gonna work very long term.

EDIT: The fixes are likely relatively cheap.

Probably just the switch or plug itself which are replaceable without having to buy the entire gripper assembly.

Does it work intermittently if you press the button repeatedly or if you wiggle the cable (like getting a pair of old headphones to work)?

Thanks, will reach out to Dan.

Thanks for the suggestion,
I've just tested it, not working intermittently if I press the button or move the cable around
