Wise 2086 Mounting Issue/Question

I just received my Wise 2086 and am excited to give it a try. It will be replacing my crank on my AG International 603S machine. Before I got too far into it I took off the crank on my existing machine and just put the Wise mounting plate from the Wise on my machine. Right away I can already tell I will have an issue.

When I tighten the one screw at the bottom of the mounting plate there is still a lot of play in the mounting play. It is not secure/stable by any means. If I would attach the mounting plate to the actual tension head I am pretty sure it would just lean back (kind of like a teeter toter).

If anyone might have some insight if I am doing something wrong I would great appreciate it!

There should be three allen screws to hold the mounting plate on the Wise and one handle to tighten the mounting plate to the stringer.

Thanks for your response Irvin. I am actually referring to the 1 screw at the bottom of the mounting bracket. After further analysis I notice there is about 1/8 of an inch gap between the mounting bracket and the metal arm tha the crank was on. No matter how tight I make the screw it never makes contact with the metal arm.

I am thinking that if I can get a longer screw from Herb I hopefully will be in good shape.

Save yourself the time.... take the screw to Home Depot/Lowe's/Ace Hardware and get a longer one with a hex socket/cap head...... the guy in the hardware aisle should be able to determine the thread size and direct you to the proper area.... tell him you want it in Stainless Steel.....
