Well, the 'holier than thou' rant would be a lot less hypocritical if he'd stopped the car to rant instead of driving while posting an IG story rant! Zverev is self-absorbed jock who thinks partying is more important than a pandemic, but Kyrgios is an irresponsible driver.
That said, Zverev's partying with Plein, a fashion designer at a DJ's table at Anjuna Baie, which is in Eze, France and NOT Monaco. So he went from and back into Monaco. No worse than Thiem's international tour, despite exposure. We don't know if he's been tested repeatedly like Thiem claims he has!

Tennis star Alexander Zverev has been captured flouting his promise to self-isolate after he was exposed to coronavirus at Novak Djokovic’s ill-fated exhibition tournament.
Djokovic, his wife Jelena, his coach Goran Ivanisevic and top tennis players Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki all tested positive last week.
Zverev was among the players fortunate to test negative after hygiene precautions and social distancing were not practised on the Adria Tour.
The 23-year-old subsequently vowed to follow medical advice and self-isolate.
“I deeply apologise to anyone that I have potentially put at risk by playing this tour,” he said in a statement last week.
“I will proceed to follow the self-isolating guidelines advised by our doctors. As an added precaution my team and I will continue with regular testing.”

Just six days later, footage emerged of Zverev partying at a private club in Monaco.
He is yet to comment after he was spotted dancing in multiple Instagram photos and videos, some of which have already been wiped from the service.
“No matter how lazy, sloppy and selfish players are about following public health guidelines mid-pandemic, they sure can spring to quick action to cover their asses,” respected tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg said.
Attention quickly turned to the tennis tour’s potential restart amid the players’ breaches and significant COVID-19 spread in the US and Europe.

Djokovic - prior to his Adria Tour debacle - previously railed against “extreme” precautions that would see players locked down in New York for the US Open, which is slated to take place in late August.
Rothenberg said Zverev’s actions created further doubt over tennis officials’ trust in players.
“This is my concern with tennis attempting to come back mid-pandemic: not that precautions can’t be taken, but that too many tennis players are conditioned to be wildly self-centered and have no concept of how to act for the greater interest of a larger group,” Rothenberg wrote.
“My question during the US Open press conference weeks ago was about not trusting players to behave properly.
“Tournament director Stacey Allaster replied: ‘I have a lot of confidence in these professional athletes’.”
Leading tennis reporter Tumaini Carayol said Zverev’s partying showed the tour must restart with COVID protocols attached to punishments for breaches.
“Not only is this insane just two days after Ivanisevic tested positive following two negatives, but I just don’t see how the US Open can take place without any kind of code of conduct,” leading tennis reporter Tumaini Carayol wrote.
Djokovic, Zverev and other top stars have drawn heavy criticism from the tennis world, with cash-strapped players ranked outside the top 50 to 100 particularly frustrated at the shutdown.
“Here is what I think.. players will make sure they have a negative test so they can play,” Australian tennis player Daria Gavrilova said on Monday.
“But right now SOME players do not care so much about their health but more importantly other people’s health...”

I first saw Zverev many years ago when he was still a junior in ATP Brisbane. He occasionally had a hit with some Pro players and also sat in the audience seat watching some matches. He looked so arrogant back then. I could almost see that he would become an arrogant man.
He should be punished for not obeying quarantine rules. He's just unbelievably irresponsible and has put others in danger.

The ATP Tour is suspended to prevent these things from happening.
They need to ban all players who attended for 1 year, 2 years for those who were involved in organising the farce.

First, his points remain valid.
Second, his distraction seemed minimally different from that which might be associated with monitoring a SatNav, Speed, Dash, Stereo, Heater, etc. He still appeared to conduct most of his obs, using his mirrors and reverting his eye to the road after very short periods of time. All for a total of 45 seconds. I would consider the overall egregiousness to be far removed from that of the subject of his ire.
That said, I am playing devil's advocate a little. Looking at a phone for something as optional as this was avoidable and should have been. Safety was compromised. I do think that simply equating the grievances ignores the full spectrum of analysis, though, and I'd put him somewhere between squeaky-clean and equally contemptible rather than at either extreme.

Not sure I'd call it brutal, but the women's event was certainly conducted more sensibly .. and the lack of infections speaks for itself.

2. it was Becker who tried to protect Zverev and got in to a dispute with NK, and damaging himself
just because NK is an ass*ole it doesn't mean that it's OK for Zverev to be in public when he is supposed to self isolate.
