Now that Fed has 4 days to rest and practice before his next match, I'm wondering with who does he hit with to hone his strokes, especially now that he is coachless. Since only those in the top 100 can even make it worth his while (much less challenge him), does he have a pre-arranged agreement with fellow players who are no longer in the tourny? Any thoughts?

How could you take that as an insult? To use "whom" in the sentence is a point of fact. How do you know he's not an English teacher?

How? For example, English is not my first language. Say I'm talking to someone and that person corrects me, I WILL take that as an insult, he doesn't have the right to correct me. I worked hard to be able to speak English like I can right now and I'm not gonna have some jackass try to correct me. Also, even if he is an English teacher, this is not a class room!
People take things differently, I guess. If I'm speaking French, for example - a language I didn't start learning until I was 9 or 10 - I like having people correct me. I worked hard to get to the point where I can speak it well, but there's always room for improvement. Particularly when it comes to slang or more common phrasings of things.

but surely people correcting you is good because it helps you get better at the language you chose to learn in the first place. Also, i am not suprised Federer practices with Mirka since she used to be a pro.

Yup! I saw him practising last monday and he was with Allegro, Federer absolutely destroyed him in a Tie Break they played lol. The crowed that gathered to see him practise was bigger than the one for the Dulko match that was on the same court an hour later.

You apparently know little about tennis. Lots of pros practice with anyone at the tournament, even juniors. The difference between the top 10 and the top 100 is pretty little... most of it has to do with mental toughness and playing big pts.. Pretty much anyone in the top 200 can hit a winner from anywhere on the court so posing a "challenge" isnt an issue.
For example, during the FO.. fed hit with a few lefty juniors to prep for the Nadal final.

Toughen up. If you take someone correcting your grammar, esp. in your second (third? meh?) language, as an insult, you're gonna have a rough time of it. I do think it's rude to interrupt people and correct them as they actually speak (and, as it were, I *am* an English teacher, so I've learned to rein in the corrections). Still, I have no qualms with people attemping to correct my French, my math, my taxes, my general ignorance in any area, and so on. Unless they're a dick about it, they're trying to help me. And this is not a live conversation, so the correction isn't rude; it's point of fact.
Your English seems excellent, in any case.
Let me move on to my actual question: Do you suppose the lefty juniors at the FO fall all over themselves to hit with Federer, or is it not as big a thrill for them as I imagine it to be?
