Wow.. Woz being out-Wozed right now... :shock: She's the one making the mindless errors.
Woz's problem is when her pushing doesn't work, she lacks an extra gear to turn the tables. Right now she's at Li's mercy and Li is just hitting patient, yet effective shots.
What an awful match. A brainless basher who just hits winners or errors early in points with no point construction at all, and a pusher who hardly makes errors but hardly makes any winners either.
See, this is what drives me nuts here...make up your mind...Li can't be a brainless basher while hitting patient, effective shots.
Who is the pusher? They were both going for winners - Li Na was just better today.
Glad she won - Woz's call for the trainer was total gamesmanship - she was fine...
That's how it works here...you're either a pusher or a basher. The women can't win either way.
If her call for the trainer was at the wrong time, then why did the chair ump let her do it? The chair ump needs to enforce the rules and not let players get away with stuff like that.
I was curious since I hadn't seen it, and I remember how her legs were all wrapped up at the end of last year (and the horrible cramping at the YEC).

Again, though, she asked, and the chair ump said yes, right? Then it is the chair ump you should be mad at, IMO.
