The Williams sisters are playing such great tennis this event. So much better than Henin who looks so mediocre. It annoys me she gets a free ticket to the final while 1 of the sisters wont make it, and if they have a tough duel in the semis Henin might end up winning the final too then. Henin's coach must have put together the draw himself.

If Serena loses to Henin in the final Henin still wont deserve the title IMO since she only got there due to such a joke draw with Clijsters, Sharapova, and Safina all losing when she struggling so much and would have lost if she had to play them probably, or if she were in the other half with both Williams and all the other in form players she would have never survived all the matches to get to the final. Serena and Venus are playing great tennis all event and it would be unfair if Henin were to somehow win the title by just playing one good match in the final and another good match in the 2nd round with a bunch of slop in between.

Then if she beats Serena then Seren was also a joke.

It hasnt been tough for Serena, She never lost serve, let alone a set. So there, if she gets beat its fair and square

This match blows. I am starting to think her only chance of the title here is if Serena takes pity on her in the semis since she hasnt won a slam in awhile and kind of lets Venus take it, then Henin suffers some wierd injury in the final or serves below 30% like she did for a bit yesterday for the whole match.

Venus is actually a very smart player. Her # of net approaches and her success rate at the net is some evidence of that. She has far more court smarts than Li Nas has. As for Li Na her height and build is not a detriment since her only real asset is hard hitting which belies her size anyway, and which people usually equate to bigger women like Venus.

At this point I hope Li Na takes it because if Venus made me watch another set (and granted it's good tennis from Li Na and not bad to watch) and then wins anyway I will be MAD.

I want to see Fed ! and I want it to be a good long match and I don't want to be up till 3am.

Agreed...now we have to sit through about 30-40 minutes more of this.

At least Serena should be fast...hoping Federer will be on in about 1 hr 30 minutes to 2 hrs..:-?

Li Na is talented but honestly she is absolutely clueless on the court. Her strategy is 'smack smack smack' the ball and anything more complex seems to confuse her.
