I agree with what I have said, not with some unfamiliar quotes you are presenting here.
And Of course she played her best tennis against that player, top players play their best tennis against their best opponents(if that's new for you, you shouldn't teach your 5-year-old about tennis). It didn't help her in the important matches though, she was 1-3 in grand slams against prime Seles since Monica beat her the first time.
