Women's final to be more interesting than men's?

I'll be watching both finals, whatever happens.

Osaka-Kvitova should be good with both players playing for not just the title but for the number one ranking.

Djokovic-Nadal (assuming Novak beats Pouille) should be good as there's a lot on the line for both of them - Djokovic looking to become the outright AO title leader, Nadal trying to take the double career Grand Slam - and their matches always produce great tennis.

I gonna watch both, but I agree to a certain degree: another Djoker-Rafa-final. Seen it all, always the same.

Osaka is fresh and despite her UO18 victory still new. Kvitova, 2-time major winner and we all know her story. Both played proper tennis so far and I hope it will be a good match.

But if Pouille beats Djokovic, it's a different story, but ... no.

I mean, come on, a likely Djokdal final is going to be fairly boring and very very long.
I'm thinking that Osaka vs Kvitova is going to be far more interesting than Djokdal LVIII.

Thoughts? Who's going to watch the women's final instead of the men's?

I'll also watch both. The men's is more interesting to me if in the high likelihood that it's Djokovic-Nadal, but I will say this for the women. That tournament overall has been far better than the men's side, especially since Federer went out and it has become abundantly clear that we were getting a Djokovic-Nadal final. I caught parts of Nishikori's 5 setters and Tsitsipas's matches with Federer (obviously) and RBA, but aside from that the tournament has been horrendous so far and has had such an air of inevitability about it where the Djokovic-Nadal final is concerned. The final is likely to save the men's tournaments, but the women's overall (including the upcoming final which is likely to be great) has been far, far better.

And I loved both women's SFs last night as well, particularly Osaka-Pliskova.

I honestly haven't watched either of Nadal or Djokovic much at all. I tape the matches and go to bed, and then fast forward them when I wake up to see if they were at all competitive and if they weren't then I didn't watch them.

50 of the last 60 grand slam men's singles titles have been won by the same 3 guys. Aren't we getting bored of this same old same old? Men's tennis really needs some new blood and new stars. It's soon to be a seniors circuit. Can you imagine if the Patriots went to the Super Bowl every year? Oh wait....

At least the women present some different matchups every year.

Wish it was BO5. Especially in a final.

Nadal vs Djokovic is the second biggest blockbuster match in the history of tennis after Nadal vs Federer. Nothing on the women side can hope to match its hype and grandeur.

Nadal-Djokovic Wimbledon 2018 is one of the best matches we've seen in recent years. Their only AO match is a classic Slam final. Plenty to suggest they'd play out a great match.

As a big Osaka fan though, naturally I'm very interested in the women's final. Like Kvitova too.

Cannot watch either of them live so that's a bummer.

I'm a fan of any upcoming WTA player and Osaka happens to be doing so well. Kvitova's experience can take over but I hope Naomi can win it, though already surprised she made it this far.

If Pouille can upset Djokovic, he does have the win against Nadal at the USO that one time but hard to believe a guy coming into 2019 out of nowhere makes it this far is gonna take the title.
Hope Djokovic takes the title just to keep Nadal away from Fed's record.
