Wonder Wedge questions

I started another thread about Wonder Wedge followup, but I actually have a couple of questions about Wonder Wedge. Any help or advice will be appreciated.

1) I hit a mostly eastern/SW forehand and a OH backhand (slice and topspin). Since I use a variety of grips, will it be a problem adjusting to Wonder Wedge?

2) I'm trying to develop a topspin forehand with pace where the ball jumps after it hits the ground. Would the Wonder Wedge help make this easier to do?

3) When I try to hit a forehand with more topspin, I sometimes have a tendancy to become "wristy" trying to get that extra spin. Would the Wonder Wedge help with that?

Thanks again for any help or advice.

For only a few bucks, it is well worth a try.

Yes, it will likely help your game. But you really won't appreciate it until you get and use it. :)

Followup question. I was thinking of putting the Wonder Wedge on one of my rackets and use that racket in drill sessions, which I usually do a couple of times a week. For any matches, I was thinking of using my regular (non-Wonder Wedged) rackets, until I got adjusted to the Wonder Wedge. Does that make any sense? Will I have a problem going back-and-forth between the WW racket and non-WW racket ? Thanks.

Can't make any absolute statements. It will really be up to you. It's just like questions I get on HDTVs, each has his own preferences. And those preferences which are personal and unique drive their decision.

Once you try the wedge, you'll get a sense of whether you can play with it during matches or not.

I can't tell you if you'll have problems going back and forth. I've played with my old racquets without the wedge just to see the difference and the feedback was immediate. I prefer the racquet with the wedge.

Like I said, your mileage may vary. :)

Thanks eagle. I'm sure I won't really have answers to my questions until I give it a try myself (which I now plan to do), however, I was hoping that experience from folks who've used it (such as yourself) may help with guidance and/or expectations.

BTW, off-topic. Your web site is awesome. I hope you don't mind that I pointed Tim from Laserfibre at it about a month ago, suggesting to him that maybe he should contact you about doing their on-line documentation. You do great work!
