@Big_Dangerous LOL dude. I never once in this entire post asked why they don't use aluminum bats in the majors, nor do I want to see that. I was simply drawing a parallel between tennis and baseball and the types of equipment used. It is comparing apples to oranges, i admit, but a discussion I was curious about nonetheless. But as long as you feel justified posting your overused Gene Wilder clip, then by all means, you win the internet today! congrats!

Why is it that kids playing baseball their whole lives using aluminum bats have to make the transition to wood bats when they turn pro?

That is different than asking why they don't or advocating for aluminum bats in MLB. Could have been worded better, but not my point. I was making a comparison.
