Word Association!!

A total waste of good vodka would be the opinion of a goateed dude in a bathrobe on a mission to buy one of the necessary mixers for an appropriate vodka based libation.
The Dude’s home really is in Venice. A one-bedroom apartment in a six-unit complex, there’s some debate whether the actual bungalow is 606 or 609 Venezia Ave. Please don’t bother the neighbors. And don’t pee on their rug. It really ties the room together.

Central Florida is obviously the setting for the upcoming Showtime series On Becoming A God In Central Florida but location shooting was done in Louisiana. First episode airs August 25.

The rapper Flo-Rida debuted 'Low' with little fanfare [promotion] and no previous recording studio to back his effort yet is now the 'it' guy of Hip Hop.

Iconic hip hop and pop:rock producer Rick Rubin is featured in the Showtime documentary series Shangri La, named for his Malibu estate/recording studio that attracts talent to be guided by the guru-like reflective current day genius that has very little similarity in appearance or attitude with the days of The Beastie Boys.

I salivate like a Pavlov dog for a decent historian to write about Black Tom Fairfax, who was probably the most overlooked hero in English history
The historical account might include tales from the land of Bushmills in Northern Ireland, where Black Bush is plentiful, but I gave up both whiskey and black bush.

Stringytom & The Vortexians offered this tune to the noted auteur DreddyTennis45 as the soundtrack for the upcoming project Sureshs: Tennis Legend 3.0. Here are the lyrics:

Well, Suck it up baby now
Jiggle and shout
Come on, come on come on baby now
Come on and spray it out
Well spray it on out, Suri
Well, you look so good now
You got me going now
Like I knew you could...

The 1980s in Britain is the setting for Blinded By The Light, a film about how the music of Bruce Springsteen inspired a teenage Indian immigrant during some rough times growing up while squeezed by the twin pressures of his traditional parents on one side and racial prejudice in school and social situations on the other side.

Swedish girls that sang when younger stringytom occasionally had an adult beverage or three were named Agnetha and Anne-Frid. Björn and Benny just blended into the background.

Elwood Blues and his brother Jake were 106 miles from Chicago, had a full tank of gas, a half pack of cigarettes, it was dark and they were wearing sunglasses. They were on a mission!
Speaking of 1980s films, the protagonists in "Risky Business" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" were also from Chicago, on a mission, and wore sunglasses. Chicago must have been a shady city.

Heather wuz grate as Rollergirl in Boogie Nights, az wuz mye favorite redhead Julianne Moore but the aforementioned Nina Hartley topped them both with two lines to her husband Little Bill when he interrupted her bedroom liaison with another man:

Her non-speaking purrphormance in the driveway with another guy reely got Little Bill worked up to seigh the pholliwing dyslexic phrase:

Robert Altman liked his cast to reveal their emotions, which Julianne Moore did in Short Cuts along with her short cuts. The film was loosely based on a collection of Raymond Carver short stories.

Mira Sorvino and Woody Allen in Mighty Aphrodite.

Speaking of Woody--and I love his films, for instance, Scoop, where Scarlett Johansson stars--reminds me of one of the many witticisms he's dispensed through the years: “Those who can't do, teach. And those who can't teach, teach gym.” Take that Immanuel Kant!

Every Woody/Scarlett film I watch religiously but in the case of Match Point, well my gripe was the quality of tennis ... it left a lot to be desired.

"The Bageler Does San Diego" will be the talk of Cannes in 2020. The Maestro's lovemaking scenes with Maria Sharapova are mesmerizing and transcendental, and the quality of tennis leaves nothing to be desired. It is the "Sideways" of AYCE buffets.

. . . for a while I thought I was cross-eyed when I read ''The Maestro's dressmaking scenes with Maria Sharapova are mesmerizing and transcendental'' . . .
The Maestro makes tents, knot dresses. Ewe are punch drunque frum watching the Charge of The Phat Brigade overhead backhand smash droop lob from behind the baseline.

The Maestro used to design for the other Maria, before handing over the reins to Stella McCartney so that he could focus on his self-proclaimed only three loves in life: tennis, eating and sleeping.
