Workout Routine?

Hi, I've been doing alot of research on the forums and on other sites and I cant seem to find a good workout routine that I could follow at the gym.

I workout three times a week at my schools weight room and Im just trying to find a routine that will specifically help me with tennis. If anyone has any suggestions for me, just let me know.

I am willing to do the same full body workout three times a week, or do specific body parts each day (i.e. arms one day, back the next day) I work out mondays, wednesdays, and fridays so I have a rest day between each workout.

You couldn't find a good workout routine in ALL of the internet??
Anyway, what is your current diet? Regardless of what you do in the gym diet is the limiting factor in your results.

Check out Sports Fitness Advisor Tennis Training Section:
You can follow the links to check out specific weight training routines, and it gives information on how to progress from increasing your strength foundation, through gaining maximal strength, then to use your strength gains to build explosive strength and endurance.
Note that there is also emphasis on doing forearm and shoulder exercises to avoid injury.
Also note that interval training and agility drills are important to develop your quickness and ability to change direction.

If you already have experience with free weights, or can get instruction, the Optimum Tennis routine is pretty good: http://optimumtennis.net/tennis-weight-training.htm

No on-line site can cover tennis training in depth like the following two books:
Power Tennis Training [Paperback] by Donald Chu http://www.amazon.com/Power-Tennis-Training-Donald-Chu/dp/087322616X
Tennis Training: Enhancing On-court Performance [Paperback]
Mark Kovacs PhD (Author), W. Britt Chandler MS (Author), T. Jeff Chandler EdD (Author) http://www.amazon.com/Tennis-Training-Enhancing-On-court-Performance/dp/0972275975/ref=pd_sim_b_2
The first of these is more specific in designing training blocks, while the second will proved a deeper understanding of how to modify training to get the best individual results.
