Worst aspect of your favorite player

G.O.A.T.
I've always thought that overheads were Djokovic's worst suit, and plenty of others also believe so. Given his last match in Doha, I wondered on the next worst thing he had, and some glaring flaws in other top 20 players.

For me, it's still Djokovic's inability to make an overhead smash right at the net. He has the point within his grasp, then loses it. It's so infuriating.

(Personally, I'm interested to see if the Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer fanatics can badmouth even a single aspect of their favorite player's game)

Fed, stubborn in his strat. Just had to try to out hit nadals forehand with his backhand, just had to try the same failed return 17 times in a row on the ad side vs djok at the us open.

I think he is a chameleon sometimes with his strat.

The combination of condescending arrogance with occasional mental weakness is very annoying. Alway acting like you're tough **** but when the going gets tough you're to first one to break (or not iykwim).
And yeah I know that I'm exaggerating

Fed's stubbornness and inability to use the right strategy vs Nadal on clay and his refusal to go FH to FH... thinking he can copy Nadal's strategy.

He actually went toe to toe in 06 but couldn't nail all those BPs in the 3rd set and really should've won or gone to 5 sets.

His strategy in Rome 06 was perfect too but that one could've gone either way and he was ul. Same story sort of with RG 2011 his strategy was excellent and he outplayed Nadal for 2 sets despite losing both, the first being unbelievably unlucky after a timely MTO at 5-2 from Nadal.

One thing that I really hate about Djokovic is how he shakes hands with the chair umpire after he WINS the match.

He barely touches their hand and doesnt make eye contact with them. Go and watch when he wins a match vs when he loses. When he loses, he looks at the umpire and gives a nice firm handshake. When he wins, its a limp handshake to the umpire and he looks at the crowd or at his box.

Nadal, Federer and Murray always give a respectful handshake to the umpire...win or lose.

Love Djokovic, but I want to see him work on this bad habit.

I don't like it when Djokovic distracts his opponents by asking for crowd support when his opponent is winning. I also don't like when he bounces ball so many times when he is down BP. Also when he yells at little ball kids I feel ashamed.

2011 USO SF comes to mind. Double MP down and he takes about a minute excessively towelling off, to the crowd. Just disgraceful tactics just because you got outplayed by a better player. Then a lucky whack at the ball later and the rest is history.

Fed - break point conversion ratio - no hope it will ever improve in the days to come; unforced errors - seriously, for the sake of all those 17GS, he has to cut down on UEs.

You obviously don't remember the 2012 WTF final. ;)

Yaroslava Shvedova has a tattoo on the back of her neck. :(

Who are you talking about?

Novak?

;) :)

You are little bit confused. The question is about your favourite player, not the player you pathologically hate.

I don't think I need to mention any of Nadal's worst aspects, since the Federer fans keep a daily updated list, including such things as being injured, saying such things as 'he was a little better', and hitting topspin.

But seriously, they are covered enough anyway. Slow, deliberate play and unnecessarily defensive playing being my two top least favourite things about Nadal.

After dwelling on TTW I find myself being nervous when Novak has a smash opportunity, but after having couple of them I soon realize how TTW tends to inflate many things about top players, so I continue to watch his match with serenity.
Novak's body language and gestures when he is losing is thing I would like him to change. Then again, it's a bit foolish to expect from extrovert to act cool and uninterested in those situations.

He retired to soon, and the comeback was  (Borg).

Same with my favorite - Henin. Retired too soon and came back too soon, too. Should have treated her injuries more carefully before coming back. I blame her for Serena's domination in the last 5 - 6 years.

Thiem- His all-out playing style's gonna hit him somehow soon. Love the kid, but he needs to be more conservative in order to really control and dictate play.

Djokovic's occasional indecisiveness about approaching the net. When moving his opponent from side to side, sometimes he takes a step forward but then gives up on going further. It's a bit annoying to see that, though he hasn't lost the point often.

His and Nadal's medical time-outs are totally blown out of proportion. Their haters are making it sound like those two are casting evil spells on their opponents during those treatments.

Might be worth checking if they are Death Eaters. They could be casting the Imperius Curse on their opponents and making them play badly after an injury timeout.

The way Berdych bends himself when he faces certain opponents and the tweets thereafter make me cringe.

Raonic being world No 3 is laughable though as an ardent fan I am very happy about it.
