Again, I just looked at male finals.Pretty sure this 1988 French Open 6-0, 6-0 beat down by Graf over Zvereva was pretty bad. I felt really bad for Natascha during the match.

The worst has to be the Wimbledon 1994 final. Where's that rally length graphic when you need it?
Either that or one of the matches where one player is hopelessly injured, like AO14 or W17.
Insane. Talk about efficiency. Here is the image that I posted, King No1e:

Not sexist. Just feel like its much harder to compare female matches to male matches. Watch for a separate list coming soon on female best and worst finals.Just because you're sexist, doesn't mean we have to.
That's for sure the worst GS final ever.
2010 Wimbledon, 2013 Roland Garros, 2017 Roland Garros, 2017 US Open and 2018 Wimbledon probably the most boring and uninteresting ones in not particular order in recent times.
Overall, the 2017 USO final wasn't necessarily a beatdown, it was more of ridiculous outplaying, while the rest were literal beatdowns. I watched the 2017 USO live, and generally considered it to be a decent match, with decent points, and decent overall competition. I sincerely feel if Rafa was slightly less in god mode, and Kevin was serving better, it would have gone to 5 based on the rest of the match.
I cant include all the matches in a top 10. Have to judge which ones were bad.
Funny you didnt mention:
AO 2006 final after the second set was trash.
RG 2009
Wimbledon 2005 and 2017
US Open 2004 and 2008
But hey, some people like one-sided beatings, don't you think?

I'll start this off, but keep in mind, I haven't watch much tennis before 2000:
#10: Australian Open 2020. It wasn't necessarily a terrible match, but it was just so underwhelming based on what was expected by the way they moved through the draw.
2006 AO was actually a very good match, in my opinion. 2005 and 2017 Wimbledon could easily be included on a worst matches of all time list. 2004 and 2008 US Open were again not necessarily bad matches, but could make it onto a list of honorable mentions. I am saying this not being a particular fan of any of the big 3. You just have to admit that when Federer goes god mode, it is much more exciting than Nadal god mode, which is in turn more exciting than Djoker god mode. I think all of them are amazing tennis players, but they are not my favorites by far. I consider myself to be unbiased in their regard.I get it, but don't you think it's funny that when the idol of the fans won the final easily, they praise the match to the core, but if this happens with the rival or rivals of his idol, then the final automatically becomes boring?
I think this is called bias, isn't it?

Just read the rest of the thread. Hopefully this will make sense.I watched this but cant remember any of it.
It is a stretch to place it on an all time worst list. A 5 set match always has some drama....In this case #17 for our favorite Djoker...
Granted Thiem is one of the least charismatic players out there.

Yep. I mean it was hard to play Djoker in 2011, so I'll give him a break for that. It was also hard playing Rafa in 2008, so I'll give Roger a break for that. The first two sets, then the quality was downhill.
US Open 2004 was a mix of what we called "god mode" and being trashy, as RG 2008 was.
The 2008 US Open was an one sided performance; Murray only played well in the second set, he was horrible the rest of the match.
However, his worst performance in a GS final was AO 2011.
Definitely going to include it on my list of women's finals.Given t he hype and build up, This one was an all time pathetic disgrace.

Yeah. Wasn't expecting it to turn into that. Guess that people don't like Murray. In my opinion, he just went up against the wrong player at the wrong time many times in his career. He has delivered some pretty impressive beatdowns though.Didn't we just have a "Rank Murray's slam final losses" thread?
Lol.That poster is a Djokovic fan.
It's sad how salty and petty some of you are tbh.
Hope you're not like this in real life.

I actually hadn't read most of the thread. Just making at joke at poor Andy's expense.Yeah. Wasn't expecting it to turn into that. Guess that people don't like Murray. Australian Open 2019 , love both Rafa and Nole but the final was waste of time.

It is fun (and pathetic) when some are bothered by discrepancies and as a last resort they resort to name-calling or personal attacks anonymously.
Unfortunately they abound in sports forums.
Tennis does not escape from those despicable beings.
Exactly, hopefully their behavior through the keyboard is different from how they unfold in personal life.

I mean...it seems like you were bothered by the apparent discrepancies and were triggered into taking a shot at Fed, when the poster in question was a Djokovic fan.
It's basically octobrina levels of posting.
I expect your choice. Not so much to ladies tennis but this match i watched that day.Pretty sure this 1988 French Open 6-0, 6-0 beat down by Graf over Zvereva was pretty bad. I felt really bad for Natascha during the match.
One of those live matches that sticked to my head because it was so brutal.I expect your choice. Not so much to ladies tennis but this match i watched that day.
I remember it was a big expectations in former USSR because of her final. And then so big fiasco. One of those live matches that sticked to my head because it was so brutal.
But you also gave me too much credit...I was a big fan of Steffi and oddly enough, Zvereva was also the pin-up player on my bedroom wall...ahahhahahhaha I remember I had a poster of her riding a bike.![]()
1985 USO. This match marked the end of McEnroe winning slams again. This was the first time that I felt that McEnroe was the underdog to Lendl, even though he was world #1 heading into that match.
Given t he hype and build up, This one was an all time pathetic disgrace.
Wimbledon '90 Navratilova - Garrison. That was Coffee Tennis.
