I'd like to know what's the most consecutive losses that each member of the top 4 has suffered in their career (excluding Davis Cup). Is someone up to the task?

Do they even have consecutive losses? Maybe when they just entered the ATP tour, but you would have to go way back.

The worst I recall for Nadal was the end of 2009, when he lost 4 straight matches (and 8 consecutive sets) though they were all against top 10 players.

Lost to Djokovic 2-6 3-6 in the SF at Paris Indoors

Then lost his three RR matches at the WTF
4-6 4-6 to Soderling
1-6 6-7 to Davydenko
6-7 3-6 to Djokovic

I think Federer had several strings of 3,4, even 5 consecutive losses back in 99/2000

Nadal was a hot mess at the end of 2009, that sucked to see as a fan.

Murray lost 4 in a row in 2011 - Nole in AO final, Baggy in Rotterdam R1, Boggy at IW and DY in Miami. This is his worst run as a professional.

Didnt Federer lose 3 consecutive matches somewhere since 2004?
Federer didn't lose 3 times in a row since before 2003.
Cound't find a 7-matches losing streak thus, only 6.

Nadal lost 4 in a row at the end of 2009, 3 in a row in another occurence, and 5 in a row in 04
