Worst Poly

You guys might find Babolat pro hurricane, ballistic polymono or duralast bad strings, but some other guys won their fair share of grandslams and a lot of other ATP tournanents with these strings in their racquets.
So i dont think they cant be that bad.
Recent years, a lot of others on this forum rave about Volkl cyclone, yet no ATP nor any WTA player is using that string. So i dont know what to think of your opinions, with all respect.

I think you're replying on the wrong thread. We're asked for our opinion.

Sorry but these opinions have no value. You should mention at least on which points you dont like, under what conditions you played with the string, in what racquet, with what tension, the court surface and air temperature, and to what other string that you normally play you compare the string you dont like.
Then it is still highly subjective but with a little more value.

Wilson and Head players frames. 50-90 degrees. 48-55lbs. Enduro Tour and Sonic Pro were the worst for my game. 5.0 all court player.
Great deal of this forum is subjective, opinionated and biased. But somehow still helpful.

Take a look at their website at all of the National level juniors and collegiate teams that use this string. Not suitable for everyone but it has a huge following along with Hyper G.
I know they are sponsoring a lot of young guys but doesnt mean anything for me, if I was playing Juniors and had reels for free i wouldnt care... Very harsh on the arm and no feel, Off course tour bite has Very good spin and good control but overrated if you ask me, if I had perference for stiff strings i would go for luxilon for sure

Tourbite was too stiff for me as well. Prefer the Hyper G. New string supposedly coming out now.

I don't know if pro hurricane counts but it was terrible.
The first poly I ever tried was Pro Hurricane and I totally hated it. Looking back now I definitely strung it way too high for a full bed in a Pro Staff 6.1 though. That experience put me off of polys for several years until I discovered the magic of gut/poly hybrids.

Pro Hurricane is certainly on my list. I remember using it 10 years ago when I first started using poly. It was miles beyond the nylon strings I had been using, but compared to the poly strings of today, it’s shortcomings are obvious. IsoSpeed Baseline is very mediocre as well.
