That serve is........interesting.
That really is a laughably bad serve- who the hell was she coached by as a junior!!! What is going on with the weird twitch in the middle of it!?!?
doesn't she hurt her wrist? I've never seen such serve. She does snap her wrist, granted. That's the way Figo executes penalty kicks, always making a short stop on the way to the ball
Finally we have proof positive that the real power in a professional serve comes from an exagerated wrist snap.
It must be easy to be a wta pro when you can serve that bad and be top 100. 10 years olds at my club do serve better and possibly faster!
It is embarassing that a player could get into the WTA top 100 with that serve, but the rest of her game is very good.
A testament to the quality of women's tennis. A male with a serve this bad could never make it. Carlos Berloq's serve is ugly as hell, but it still goes over 120.
yuck. if it wasn't for that tweener racket she would never get the ball over the net.
How come the link isnt workin for me? Does any one kno wats up with it or how i can watch tha video...
great placement at least . a ball that slow would be hard to hit.
Please dont find second serve stats they might make me sick!
Francoise Durr, a top tenner from France in the late 60s, routinely hit second serves at around 25 MPH.
The really funny thing is, everyone who's posted on this thread (myself included) would probably get the crap beat out of them by this girl.
Wow- that is ugly for any pro let alone top 100. The thing is though there are probably more than a 1000 gilrs ranked below her that have much better serves but can't beat her. So props to her for making it this far.
I don't see why though she doesn't get a new coach and completely overhaul her serve. It is not like it can get much worse.
