For the past few years, Agassi collect most of his title in the first qtr of the year.

Winningless this year so far, howwould you access his chance in collecting another title this year?

From my opinion, any clay court event is out of picture. For grass, chance at Wimbledon is slim. He might got a fair chance if he decide to play another grass event, maybe Queens. But any big server will make his day, even a Grosjean can toy with him on grass.

Then the summer. He might have a more-than-average chance if he decide to play in LA or Washington. For Cincin and Canada, it's rarely he will play both, and the field and the heat will just be far too tough for him to handle. Plus he might be seeded below no. 8 by then, so will be meeting the top guy earlier on.

Then comes the US open. who know how he will play. If Goran can win Wimby and Sampras winning his last Open ranked in the 15's, he might also get a chance

Then the indoors...will talk if he really decide to play

Of course he'll win an event this year! Ridiculous question...
He'll win St. Poelten, the French Open (maybe), Wimbledon (maybe), Washington (definite), Toronto (probably), US Open (definetely), and TMS Madrid.

MaSha,

It appears you have made a mistake, you have put Roddick in the top 4

I agree with the others though.

As for Agassi I think he may win a small tournament but no GS for AA this year.

US Open is his best shot. Even that, he will need a good draw/schedule. He doesn't really have a chance in Wimbledon...French Open is a loooong shot for him...

He will probably win a title, and one TMS hardcourt...

Agassi will win at least one slam this year simply because nobody on the mens side is totally dominataing on the top. There have been players who are incosistent, injured, sick, etc. Even Federer who is clearly the # 1 player has been up and down.

liam what do you have against andy roddick?

Just do a search for Roddick in discussions... we don't need another Roddick sucks/Roddick doesn't suck because 1) we had one last week with the guy asking about how to prove his friend that Roddick sucks, and 2) everyone knows Roddick sucks anyway .

Agassi will play the remaining 3 slams this year, and all the TMS up til the US Open...

he has an outside shot at flushing meadows, however i think he will take the rest of the year off after the us open.

Agassi is concerned with winning majors, not TMS or smaller events; and he is less concerned about his ranking.

Look for a stellar effort at the slams, and look for him to spend alot of quality time with his family

He made the Semis of the Aussy open. He met Safin in dream form and was just out played.

You cant rule him out to be a top contender for any event he enters. Im not a fan of his but there no disputing it takes a player in really good form to take him down.

think the a train will announce his retirement at this years' us open. or he may announce it as early as wimby saying the us open will be his last tourney. he may win one title this year, but that may be unlikely..certainly not a majour. ed

Nas Eclipse,

ucd_ace said it all and I couldn't have put it better myself! :D

Roddick shouldn't be in the top 10 let alone 4!!
