No one cares that Federer has business relationships with AO director, which, with all the preferences Federer got at the tournament in the last 4 years, is an obvious case of corruption and you are talking about some line judge accident? Please.

Watch the clip. I assure you none of Fedovic would have been DQed.Its just not enough for a DQ.

It's the PTPA thing that did Djokovic in.

If she had either been standing up straight or looking in his direction it would have been a non event.
As it did pan out I believe any player would have been disqualified.

it really makes you wonder, though

how would they have swept this under the rug if it were Federer.

I can totally see it:

Black-suit-wearing agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation rush out from the sidelines, putting a black cloth bag over her head and dragging her off the court, taking her to a CIA black site, and the world never hears from her again.

Meanwhile, the TV cameras never show the replay of the incident and all footage from the match is mysteriously deleted.

Imagine.

Imagine.

Seriously, though, how would they not get defaulted if in a parallel universe they did that? It was there for everyone to see.

Would Fedal have been defaulted?
Would Fedal have bothered to committed the crime?

That's why such hypotheticals are meaningless.

It's like wondering what would happen if Edberg ever had a hissy fit and yelled "wh*re" at a female umpire.

No. He would have been docked the set and perhaps additional a service game to start the 2nd. No way would he have been Disqualified.

It's amazing some here don't understand the weight Federer holds in professional tennis is above that of Djokodal combined. And it's the USO who are funded by direct friends of Federer I'm sure.

I think you're reaching with this post.

Even if you're Federer, if you hit a lineswoman, it's very hard to make a case that you'll get away with it. The USO wouldn't sink that low.

Could Roger Federer have gotten away with assassinating Kennedy if he had wanted to (and had been alive at the time)?

I think probably yes.

I'm surprised we haven't had any reaction from Fedal yet. They must have been asked for their thoughts. What would Andy Murray think?

The evidence:

1. Federer has amassed great publicly unreported wealth tied to the most influential people on earth.
2. Federer has maintained a global charity initiative.
3. Federer outside the French Open commands the highest attendance and ratings figures.
4. Federer has hit staff on court before.

I rest my case dear sir.

Federer- possible any year

Nadal- possible this year. Any other year with crowds, forget it. LOL, you think they'd dare to default the most popular guy that caused a crowd to boo an umpire at the trophy presentation for doing his job? o_O

If Fed did this, the head official would have come out to the court, hand him a ball and ask for an autograph before promptly skipping away with a smile

Seriously, I like how some people already assume Roger wouldn't have been DQ'ed if he had done that. Like the world is really against Djokovic and worships Federer. Is that really the narrative some people buy into?

If Federer had done that, he would have definitely been DQ'ed, no two ways about it. He is just a tennis player, not Nelson Mandela.

Mandela is a bit weird comparison since he was jailed for 27 years :p

Fedal would not have argued. Djokovic did, taking about his career and his tournament as if the world revolvs around him.

I think Fedal would have simply accepted the decision, walked off, done a legit presser expressing how sorry they are.
