Would the new wilson blx prostaff six one 95 16x18 be using the same grommet as the blx/K?
First of all, the new ProStaff Six-One 95 BLX has a 16x19 string pattern, so 16x18 grommets won't fit. Secondly, there were no K nor BLX versions of the ProStaff Six-One 95 BLX so the grommets from the K6.1 95 or BLX6.1 95 will not fit. The previous version of this racquet was the PS 6.0 95 Original. They are two completely different lines of racquets (the ProStaffs are box beam, the non-ProStaffs are wide oval beams).

yea i am talking about the 2012 non prostaff six one 95 16x18 the one with oval beams. At first i thought that they add the name prostaff to all the six ones :?.

Obviously no one can say for certain, but it's extremely likely that they will be using the same mold for the newer frames. Retooling the mold doesn't make much sense from a cost standpoint, and the racquet's got a huge legacy and I would imagine that would cause a bit of a fuss. Only thing i could see changing this would be something like enlarged grommets (similar to the nTour vs the nTour2). So it's a pretty safe bet, to say the least.

Makes a lot a sense...
