Would u dump a Sports Tutor 'Player' for a Lobster E3

This is my question as I ponder an Elite 3.
I like the player for, a great remote, fairly consistent, digital readouts,
and support, however the rubs are making me think of selling it.

Here's the rubs: Player mode does not vary depth significantly. Intermediate and advanced player mode is just mostly unrealistic head high top spins
on the baseline. I can return 'em but, I'm thinking, whats the point of me standing 6 feet behind the baseline hitting balls 6feet off the ground. Lowering
the feed just gives me unrealistic topspin and corner shots. I guess, I'm just not impressed with the player mode. Other modes are great.
Other complaints:Wheels suck(too small), handle sucks (too short),
feed does hang about once per load either gets empty or ball gets hung
against spring.

I am looking at the Lobster elite 3 for the following:
1. 3 debth controls with random feed
2. Longer battery life
3. More Compact
4. Better wheels handle
5. Better warranty

This seems to be the only portable with any real non-manual debth control that I can find.

I have not used the Elite 3. Any owners or experiences you folks can share?

Yea only if the guy sucks, but if hes good then no because then you can practice rallying and maybe play practice matches while a lobster takes time to prepare and shoot the ball or something like it. It's not like the lobster can play a game with you... Or can it? wait no it cant lol =P

What other choices are out there for these 'player' type ball machines that are priced similarly to these two? I think Silent Partner also has one for about 1,500 that you can program.

I looked around and even the programmable ones, even up to the SAM at a whopping 2300+ dollars, do not change the depth.

It's just not realistic enough to me running side to side the whole time.

Unfortunately you have to spend even more money on a programmable ball machine that is not portable, like a Playmate machine. Don't be so hard on the player mode at least it makes you move side to side and hit lots of balls.
The handle and wheels dont make you a better player, but it good enough to go from point A to point B, unless your walking through gravel and stairs, then I could see your point, but its just a big bulky machine anyways, that does the job very well.

Yeah. If someone did not know there was a lobster machine, they would be shocked to read this thread. At least it was cleared up.
