He’d have fewer Slams, imo. He couldn’t really do anything outside clay against old Roger and I have no reason to believe he’d do better against peak Roger. Now with 2015 RG Stan, there’s a debate to be had, though I’d still pick Fed unless it’s like RG 2008 Fed. And obviously Nadal on clay is Nadal on clay.

Honestly curious, why do you think Rafa faked an injury? He's been beaten plenty of times in slam finals or elsewhere, sometimes in humiliating fashion. AO19? Getting his ass handed to him by Djokovic in three slam finals in a row (2011-2012) and in a bunch of other tournaments? He's also won plenty of matches after losing the first set. Why would he tank the chance to fight his way back to a second AO title to spare himself the "embarassment" of being beaten by Stan who was playing great tennis?
