Would you be a Dominant champion, a Specialist champion or a Peak (Unpredictable) champion

You guys are probably saying what does this mean, let me lay it our for you. There are three different types of champions in tennis nowadays, the dominant champion, a specialist champion and a peak champion. What do they mean?

Dominant champion- you are a consistent champion, you dominante the game, won a lot championships and odds on favorite in every championship. You are the one and people know it is about trying to beat for them to win the championships. You have the confidence to know how to win and people know your tendencies but you still win . You enjoy being the center of attention with your consistent career, bring results and it brings excitement to you as an athlete.

Specialist champion- you don't always seek winning every championship but you know that your are good in one thing and you let that follow you to championships. You have confidence in yourself on that one surface,. The surface that gives you much success, you become an alter ego of yourself on that surface cause you know that you reign supreme and it is something people can't take away from you.

Peak (Unpredictable) champion- you don't always seek winning every championship, you stay under the radar, fans and players may forget about you but you know you are a champion and have the mindset of one. You are someone who lets yourself peak at certain tournaments, almost like waking the dragon and players either get shock or scared when you peak. When you peak you can beat anybody and your opponents know that resistance is futile.

Which champion would you rather be and why.

I'd be Fed, without the breakthrough.

I'd be 30+ still breaking racquets on court and yelling at myself.

Interestingly each description (very loosely) fits Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic in that order
All three are not peak or unpredictable champions. They are dominant champions , odds favorites, they are very consistent and stay on the radar.

A peak champion would be someone like Stan Wawarinka.

At least it fits their descriptions in the popular imagination. Rafa the untouchable clay god, Djokovic the force of nature who beats everyone when he's on.

Nole is just dominant, he does not need to peak, he did not play his best tennis against Fed at Wimbledeon 2019 and he still beat him.

We see more unpredictable champions on the women's side. Petra Kvitova is an example of a peak champion.

Agreed. All the big 3 are dominant champions. It's been a decade since Nadal was a clay specialist and Djokovic was a form player.
