Would you prefer if tennis went back to wooden racquets to see who is most talented?

I think we would have different set of top players. Not just nadal, Federer too wouldn't be this good.

In fact, if I have to pick one among top players on who would still win with wooden racquet, I'd pick Nadal,..... umm, at French.

I would love to see one pro tournament, perhaps an atp 250? that would be a woodie only! this way it would be one of those "optional" tournaments that you play for fun or practice/ warm up, or you need extra points.
I have beem playing with my woodies and just picked up a borg pro Midsize, that I will probably play a tournament with (atleast the first 2 rounds).

Frankly I find wood rackets more fun.

Comparing it to other things is just stupid, baseball might be the only thing to compare it to, isnt it funny that in Baseball the PRO's use the wood and the amatures use the carbon/aluminum bats??
Oh and I wouldnt be so sure about rafa, I actually get more "curveball" type spin with my woodies (with poly) than with my regular sticks with an equal amount of effort, so Im sure he would do just fine.

I think it would be more exciting. I see just for fun one day woodie tournaments all over the country.

If the brilliant OP wants to determine talent by using woodies why not use rack head size as a determinant. Lets have everyone play using a 88-90 inch racket and see the results.

Wonder why the king of flawed wooden racquet logic Breakpoint is not in here somehow.
You mean its not likely, even remotely, that Mike Sams is BP.

Nah, I don't think so.
