Would you trade a Wilson K Blade for a Wilson N Blade?

My friend has both racquets, but likes his K Blade much more. He really wants to trade in his N Blade for a beat up K Blade, but doubt anyone would want to do that. Would you?

If he can find someone willing to trade. Othewise it's easier to sell it and buy what he wants.

Those racquets are completely different. The nblade only came in 98 and the kblade is 98 or 93. Also the n blade was very stiff and very unstable. You needed to lead it a lot to get stability but that also shifted the balance. I did not like it at all playtesting it a long time back. I noticed a lot of power needed to be generated in order to get the ball moving. Also the control wasn't spectacular. But I also played against someone who was playing with the nblade and they were getting very good spin out of it. It suits different players with different strokes. I just didn't like it based on the stability alone.

Exactly. They don't play the same at all. That's why he wants to trade in his N Blade.

I guess depending on how "beat up" the KBlade was. I would sell the NBalde and buy a good condition used KBlade.

If I liked the nBlade better, I'd trade him. I haven't hit with the kBlade 98 yet, so I wouldn't know which hit better to me.

1. Nblade came as a 106 OS and a 98 MP

2. "Nblade was very stiff??" Certainly not the 98, it was one of the softest frames I ever played with, your the only person Ive ever heard call an nblade stiff. As for stability it was never a problem for me but I did prefer it with added lead

Maybe you hit with the OS version ??

I agree -- the nBlade is way softer than the kBlade and has much better feel to it. It was too light for me, so I leaded it up to 330g, excellent frame, much better than the kBlade 98.

I coudn't agree more! I was devastated when I saw the specs of the [K]Blade... but with the wave of baseline grinders who don't know what a touch shot or a decent volley is it seems like a good move from Wilson.
