I put it on the racquet hand to help prevent the sweat from running down my arm and making my grip wet/slick

right hander, right wrist.

I don't have that problem the problem is just sweat on my forehead getting into my eyes every now and then and I don't really want to put the towel on the court and have to run to it between points, so I just put a wrist band on my left arm (right handed) and use it to wipe sweat away.

Right handed where a double sized on the right if it's a really killer match I'll take my watch off and put on another band on

what i realize is that the sweat is not really from the palm. It's when you wipe of the sweat after the point with your left hand(if you are right hander)

my vote goes to
a right hander with left wristband

I'm confused. Why would you put a wristband only on your left arm if you hold the racquet with your right arm?

The wristband is meant to stop your sweat from rolling down your arm and onto you playing hand. A wristband helps to stop that from happening. It's also used to wipe the sweat off of your forehead.

Some people don't have too much of a problem having the sweat run down their arm and just use it to wipe their forehead/necks. And or they feel its uncomfortable

Well, if you find it uncomfortable then you shouldn't wear a wristband. But once you get used to the feeling, you can't do without it. I've been using a wristband for as long as I've been playing tennis (>35+ years), and now I can't play without one on as it just feels too weird without it.

But the main purpose of wristbands is to keep the sweat from rolling or dripping down on your arm and onto your hand which can make your hand slippery and may cause you to lose your grip. It's meant for keeping your playing hand dry. That's why you see more tennis players than soccer players wear wristbands.

I'm right handed and wear one wristband on my left arm.

I get many looks also because most of the time, I wear my my wristband on my upper forearm. I use a wristband more as a wrist-towel to wipe sweat.

On sunny days where I know I'm getting tanned, I definitely alternate it's position. I move it around constantly from left wrist to forearm and even right wrist and forearm. I usually change it each game. But it's on my definitely on my left arm when serving.

Right Hander, Right wrist. To avoid sweat and in some way it helps you stabilize your wrist.

I wouldn't mind wearing wristbands on both arms though.

Right Hander, with 1HBH, but...I wear double wides on both arms. I usually use the wristband on my left arm for wiping sweat from my forehead.

i use the one on my left to wipe sweat off my face, the one on the right to keeps sweat from running down my arm onto the grip. no time to towel off after every point, especially when you have to chase the ball down half the time.

As a righty, I use the wristband on left wrist, since I hold my racquet w/my right hand 100% of the time, and don't want to wipe my sweat w/right hand and moving the racquet at the same time...

Most of the year i wear them on my right hand only (I am a righty and want to prevent sweat from sliding down onto my grip)

However, in the hotter months I will wear on both wrist so that I can wipe off with both hands.
