1. Carlos entered career GS titles and career no1 race earlier than big3
2. He's already showing big3 level tennis
3. He has ~15 years to dominate
4. There's no one even close to his max level, beside GOAT himself, but even Novak can't hold him for long

This future top-ATG kid is able to break all the big records, and so far there's no visible obstacle in front of him. Tbh, it's a little bit scary.

Even if Novak finds a way to win this Sunday, I see it as last hold, the dam is gonna break at some point, and from then on - it's all Carlos until late 2030's, unless some new top-ATG enters the game.

Novak will need to block him himself and play until his 50s.

One thing is for sure -- tomorrow is Carlos' last chance to prove himself as not a mug. He could end up with 30 slams, but if he loses to someone AGAIN who is 16 years his elder -- he'll merely be king of the mugs for the next couple decades, and nothing more.

It's gonna happen, don't worry. Maybe tomorrow already, maybe at USO, maybe next year (as I would prefer) - but the dam is gonna break. Most probably, he'll have significantly better H2H vs Novak when all said and done.

Agree. It will hard for anyone to stop. If the current competition is an aging 36 year old Djokovic, that pretty much sums it up

Oh nice.

Sounds like people will be leaving in droves. LOL. Whos gonna want to watch teeth win multiple calendar slams in a row without a legit rival and a tour full of trash players except for an almost retired 36 year old?. No one is gonna watch an ATP Tour that makes 2004-2007 look like a golden era of competitive tennis

British media definite!y on Carlos's side (probably typical "western hatred") for the Serb.

US, even us in Canada have yet to be able to accept being the villain.

They still see things as bad vs good.

Very simply put, Americans want to be rooting for the "good" guy.

Being Serbian probably doesn't help either.
